What each field is for
- Shipper and consignee
- Who is sending the goods and who should receive them.
- Packages
- How many cartons or pieces are in the line.
- Length, width and height
- The outside size of one package, in centimetres in the generator.
- Gross weight
- The weight of the line including packaging, in kilograms.
Common mistakes
- Listing net product weight where the carrier asked for gross weight.
- Mixing the invoice quantity with the carton count.
- Leaving dimensions off when the freight is charged on volume.
- Treating the watermarked preview as a document you can hand to a driver.

Is the blank packing list template free?
Yes, after you opt in with your email. Paying for a completed packing list is separate. You can also buy it with the commercial invoice and bill of lading.
Can a calculator fill the lines?
